CRC techology

Compact Reinforced Composite (CRC) is the designation for a special type of Fibre Reinforced High Performance Concrete with high strength (140-400 MPa) developed by Aalborg Portland A/S. The CRC products are now marketed and sold by Hi-Con A/S under the business area CRC Technology – a subsidiary of Hi-Con A/S.

Hi-Con A/S has the exclusive rights to the trade marks “CRC” and “CRC JointCast” worldwide, and an exclusive license agreement with Aalborg Portland to market and sell these materials and any kind of applications of these products.

CRC was developed – and patented by Aalborg Portland A/S in 1986. In the years since 1986 a number of research projects have been carried out and extensive documentation has been provided. CRC is thus the oldest of the so called UHPFRC’s (Ultra High Performance Fibre Reinforced Concretes), and Hi-Con A/S has the exclusive rights to use and commercialize this extensive documentation.
