Museum in Thorsminde honered by  the municipality

In the beginning of october 2017, the "Strandingsmuseum St. George" in Thorsminde was honered with the Architecture Award by the municipality of Holstebro.

"With the reconstruction and rethinking of its purpose and potential, the museum has succeeded in creating a special place with its own identity and character, which fits to its location". This is how the winning project "Strandingsmuseet St. George" in Thorsminde is described by the jury.

Hi-Con has supplied the museum with 90 facade elements in light CRC i2®. The 90 elements measure up to 80 millimeters in thickness and have a total area of 630 m².  The length of the facade elements varies between 1,1 - 15 meters and widths of either 0,8, 1,27, 1,31 or 1,35 meters.

All elements are supplied with cast-in 15x5 mm rails in rustproof and acid-proof steel.
