In the heart of Viborg, Denmark, a new exclusive residential project is taking shape: Viborg View. As a key part of the architectural expression, Hi-Con is delivering large, slim corner balconies in Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) that not only provide residents with outstanding outdoor spaces, but also serve as striking design features on the building’s façade.

What is Ultra High Performance Concrete?

For Viborg View, Hi-Con is supplying a custom UHPC solution comprising 38 corner balconies with a slab thickness of approx. 115 mm, 42 columns measuring approx. 300 x 300 mm to support the corner balconies, and 31 concept balconies with the same slim slab thickness.

The Ultra High Performance Concrete we use combines exceptional strength with remarkable durability, enabling the creation of large-format, slender structures with a lifespan of over 100 years – entirely free from structural maintenance.

The distinctive corner balconies offer bright, airy outdoor spaces where residents can enjoy both the lake views and privacy. At the same time, they give the building a light, contemporary look that complements the large glass sections and the overall architectural vision.
