A new, modern district

A new, modern district is taking shape in Denmark, called Thors Have. This exciting project includes eight construction areas and covers an impressive 23,170 m2. Raundahl & Moesby is responsible for developing six of these properties, resulting in a total of 307 attractive apartments. It is worth noting that Thors Have is designed to achieve a DGNB Gold certification, ensuring that the construction meets strict standards of environmental, economic, and social sustainability.

 

Thors Have will focus on nature, communal areas, and biodiversity. Great emphasis will be placed on creating user-friendly, green, and pleasant outdoor spaces for the residents. An important part of this vision is the presence of balconies for the apartments. We are thrilled to be part of this exciting project, where we have the opportunity to create comfortable and private outdoor spaces for the residents.

Project details

Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) was the natural choice of material for the balconies in Thors Have, as is was desired by the developer from the very beginning. Therefore, Hi-Con quickly became the chosen balcony supplier. The UHPC material combines impressive durability with a sleek and elegant design that contributes to the project's aesthetics and functionality.

 

For the project, Hi-Con will deliver 192 parapet balconies sized 3.5 x 1.5 m. All balconies will have a cast parapet of 1.2 m in height along one side and will be produced in both right- and left-handed versions. The plate thickness will be approximately 70-85 mm for all balconies.

 

Hi-Con will also supply 37 canopies sized 2.5 x 1.3 m with a plate thickness of approximately 65-78 mm.

 

The first phase will be completed in the last quarter of 2024.
